coffee, juice, tea, hot chocolate, buns and rolls will be served!
All are welcome!
Happy
St. Patrick’s Day! Saint Patrick is
the Patron Saint of our Archdiocese of
New York. We honor him with the world renowned parade
that occurs on 5th Avenue in New York City. We also
celebrate his feast through various prayer services and social
gatherings this time of year. Let us remember that Patrick
was a man of great faith, inspired by God to bring the Word of
Christ to a pagan people on a lonely outpost island of Europe in the
Dark Ages. He is remembered in his use of the tiny shamrock, a
three-leafed plant native to Irish soil, in his illustration of the
trinity of God.

"St.
Patrick's Breast-Plate"
Christ
protect me today
Against every poison, against burning,
Against drowning, against death-wound,
That I may receive abundant reward.
Christ with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ within me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ at my right,
Christ at my left,
Christ in the fort,
Christ in the chariot seat,
Christ in the poop [deck],
Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks to me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.
I bind to myself today
The strong
virtue of an invocation of the
Trinity,
I
believe the
Trinity in the Unity
The Creator of the Universe.
BLESSED BE GOD, BLESSED BE HIS HOLY NAME"
Yours in
Christ,
