For over 200 years, parishes in the Archdiocese of New York have been spiritual homes to millions of Catholics from every conceivable background and ethnicity. And as our Church has grown and changed over time, so have its needs. 
  
In order to meet these changing needs, the Archdiocese of New  York has embarked upon a $200 million capital campaign, Renew + Rebuild. The primary purpose of this campaign is to renew and revitalize our faith communities by providing support to our parishes, clergy, schools, and charities.

RENEW AND REBUILD ... this is a capital campaign directed to all parishes by Cardinal Dolan ... we are among the last parishes to become involved ... each parish has a goal (our goal is $850,000) based on its collections, each parish will keep 74% of the monies raised for parish projects and 26% will go to the various projects of the Archdiocese (one of which projects is to help needy parishes and over the years we have been a "needy" parish receiving funding), parishioners will be approached for pledges based on their giving history and small gatherings will be held to explain the program ... pledges may be completed over 3 to 5 years ... Monsignor Graham will host these small gatherings in April and in May ... some of the projects that we are looking at are:  SOUND SYSTEM IN THE CHURCH, RENOVATION OF DE CHANTAL HALL WITH ADDITIONAL BATHROOMS AND KITCHEN FACILITIES, ADDITIONAL SIDEWALK AND CURB REPAIRS, MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS FOR LANDSCAPING AND CHURCH HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEMS, SCHOOL EMERGENCY LIGHTS and other projects that you (parishioners) or the Parish Council may suggest ... it will take a tremendous amount of work and good will to be successful and to improve our parish facilities and programs but WE CAN DO IT --- TOGETHER!

RENOVAR Y RECONSTRUIR ... esta es una campaña capital dirigida a todas las parroquias por el Cardenal Dolan ... estamos entre las últimas parroquias involucradas ... cada parroquia tiene una meta (nuestra meta es $ 850,000) basada en sus colecciones, cada una la parroquia mantendrá el 74% del dinero recaudado para proyectos parroquiales y el 26% se destinará a los diversos proyectos de la Arquidiócesis (uno de los cuales es ayudar a las parroquias necesitadas y a lo largo de los años hemos sido una parroquia "necesitada" que recibe fondos), a los feligreses se les pedirán promesas basadas en su historial de donaciones y se realizarán pequeñas reuniones para explicar el programa ... las promesas pueden completarse en un período de 3 a 5 años ... Monseñor Graham será el anfitrión de estas pequeñas reuniones en abril y mayo. Algunos de los proyectos que estamos viendo son: SISTEMA DE SONIDO EN LA IGLESIA, RENOVACIÓN DE DE CHANTAL HALL CON BAÑOS ADICIONALES E INSTALACIONES DE COCINA, ACOMPAÑAMIENTO ADICIONAL Y REPARACIONES DE CORTES, CONTRATOS DE MANTENIMIENTO PARA PAISAJISMO Y SISTEMAS DE CALEFACCIÓN Y REFRIGERACIÓN DE LA IGLESIA, ESCUELA LUCES DE EMERGENCIA DE y otros proyectos que usted (los feligreses) o el Consejo Parroquial puedan sugerir ... tomará una tremenda cantidad de trabajo y buena voluntad para tener éxito y mejorar nuestras instalaciones y programas parroquiales, pero PODEMOS HACERLO --- ¡JUNTOS!
