The Sacrament of Baptism
Baptisms are usually celebrated on Sundays at 1:00 pm. Parents who wish to have their child baptized at St. Frances must make arrangements with a priest at the rectory; parents having their first child baptized are required to attend a Baptismal Education Instruction. The instruction is Saturdays at 1 pm in the meeting room of the lower church. -

Please come to the rectory. In order to be a godparent or sponsor, you must have received your own sacraments, be registered and a practicing Catholic which means Sunday attendance at Mass and if married, married in the Catholic Churc.
Por favor venga a la rectoria. Para ser padrino or madrina, debe haber recibido sus propios sacramentos, estar registrado y ser catolico practicante, que significa asistir a la misa cada domingo, y si es casado, casado en la iglesia católica.

we are coming to the end of this school year and looking forward to next year ... parents will be receiving information for registration and re!registration ... all children who attend public schools should be registered or re! register for classes which will begin on September 13, 2017 ... we are also introducing a high school program which will meet on Wednesdays at 7 pm in the School Cafeteria and that program begins on September 13 as well ... we are looking for additional catechists for our program ... you can speak with Ms. Christi or Monsignor Graham for more information ... a catechist is a great vocation to serve the church ... please consider this ... once again, ALL CHILDREN ATTENDING PUBLIC SCHOOLS SHOULD BE IN OUR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM. Baptism for Children in Our Elementary School
If your child has not been baptized and attends St. Frances de Chantal School, there will be a special program for parents and for the children ... information will be given out in the Fall ... in the meantime, please bring your child to Mass on the weekends.
BAUTIMOS PARA NIÑOS EN NUESTRA ESCUELA PRIMARIA ... si su hijo no ha sido bautizado y asiste a la escuela Santa Francisca de Chantal, habrá un programa especial para padres y para los niños ... la información será dada en el otoño. Han comenzado para los padres de niños que no han sido bautizados como infantes... los padres asistirán a una serie de 3 clases con Monseñor Graham... tenemos niños de la escuela primaria y el programa de educación religiosa en esta serie especial... otra serie se llevará a cabo en la primavera.
